Gunner scoops award double
Robin van Persie's terrific form for Arsenal has been rewarded with two individual accolades less than three months into the Barclays Premier League season and the Dutch striker wants even more ahead of West Bromwich Albion's visit to the Emirates.
Van Persie has scored 12 goals in 14 appearances this season, prompting colleagues to consider him nearly unstoppable while also allowing his under-pressure teammates to breathe a sigh of relief after his displays helped them recover from a difficult start to the season.
