Schweinsteiger Has Surgery on Collar-Bone Fracture
Bayern Munich will be without their influential midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger until at least
the New Year after the German International underwent surgery on his fractured collar-bone injury
picked up last night in Bayern's 3-2 win against Napoli last night.
Schweinsteiger who has been a target for both Manchester United and Chelsea had a plate inserted
into his fractured collar-bone is said to be ok after the successful surgery and will leave
Hospital tomorrow.
