Rise and Shine: The Jay DeMerit Story – Movie Premiere in the Twin Cities on Thursday

Rise and Shine is a documentary about the amazing story of Green Bay, Wisconsin native, Jay DeMerit. I think most everyone knows DeMerit's story by now. The kid who played soccer for the University of Illinois at Chicago wasn't drafted by MLS so he flew to England and started playing for a seventh-tier side.
