Steven Gerrard Undergoes Ankle Surgery
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has again undergone surgery, this time to remove an infection that flared up in his ankle prior to the club's recent encounter with West Brom. The club has released the following statement regarding their captain: Steven Gerrard has now undergone treatment to clear out all infection from his right ankle, which has been placed in a protective plaster cast.
