Courtesy of a hat-trick from Demba Ba against the club he came within a dodgy knee scan of joining last January, Newcastle beat Stoke 3-1 on their own patch last night to climb up to the nosebleeds of the Premier League table ending the evening in third place, a single point behind Manchester United in second, meaning that Toon could climb to second should things go their way on Saturday!
