Yankees Extend CC Sabathia

The nightmare scenario this offseason for the New York Yankees was losing CC Sabathia in free agency. On Tuesday, the Yankees made sure that didn't happen when they gave Sabathia a $122 million deal over five seasons.

Last year, CC Sabathia held together the Yankees starting rotation. He was a Cy Young Award candidate for the entire season and finished with a 19-8 record and a 3.
