Tony La Russa Retires
In a surprising twist, Tony La Russa has retired. The St. Louis Cardinals manager certainly went out with a bang by leading his team to a 2011 World Seris championship. The 67-year-old manager retires with the third most wins in Major League Baseball history.
La Russa made the announcment at Busch Stadium during a news conference on Monday morning.
