Arsenal boss hails ‘exceptional’ skipper

Arsene Wenger admits that he is in awe of the terrific form of his captain Robin van Persie and believes that the Dutchman is finally using his class to distinguish himself as one of the finest in the league.

Van Persie's proneness to injuries has prevented him from reaching his highest potential in recent years but after inheriting the armband, he has been simply unstoppable.
