I know Sigi Schmid would like nothing better than return to the area where he grew up and coached his hometown Galaxy and play his old club come November at MLS Cup in Carson. But first he needs to win an actual postseason game or two.
It's strange to think that a coach with as many wins and as much experience as Schmid has never won a playoff game in three seasons in Seattle, let alone a series, but it's true.
