Guardiola Denies Claims That He Was Responsible For Toure’s Departure

This is not the first time Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola is defending himself against claims of forcing out players he dislikes. After taking over from Frank Rijkaard in 2008, Guardiola made it very clear that Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Deco would no longer be part of his plans as coach of the Catalans.
