National Teamers Abroad: Monday Update
With Oguchi Onyewu on the bench, Sporting got a lopsided win over Gil Vincente, beating them 6-1 at the Jose Alvade stadium. Diego Capel and Valeri Bojinov both scored twice in a game where Sporting produced five goals in the second-half. Sporting are 3rd in the Liga table, with Gil Vincente in 9th. Also on Monday, Michael Parkhurst's Nordsjaelland beat FC Copenhagen 3-1 at Copenhagen with Parkhurst taking his regular place in the starting eleven.
