Galaxy qualify for CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals

A year ago the Galaxy couldn't get out of the CONCACAF Champions League preliminary round.

Now they're in the knockout stage.

Winless Honduran team Motugua meekly surrendered to the Galaxy 1-0 Tuesday as LA topped their group behind another trademark Juninho long-range bomb to reach the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals.
