Home secretary Theresa May agrees to hand over as many as 300,000 documents on 1989 disaster to independent panel David Cameron was urged to apologise for the police failures and government cover-up surrounding the Hillsborough disaster as MPs voted for the release of all documents relating to the tragedy.
