Van Persie saves the day

Arsenal moved into the top half of the Premier League table for the first time since the opening day of the season with a nervy 2-1 win over Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium.

Robin van Persie scored after just 29 seconds to give Arsenal the lead, but Sebastian Larssonlevelled for the visitors just after the half-hour mark with a trademark free-kick.
