City tipped to splash on duo

Manchester City are monitoring the availability of Napoli's Marek Hamsik and Ezequiel Lavezzi, with first-team coach Fausto Salsano hinting that the Eastlands outfit is likely to bid for the duo's services in the near future.

Napoli have maintained their incredible rise to prominence by starting off strongly in the Italian Serie A and also fighting City to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium in the opening fixture of the UEFA Champions League Group Stage.
