Mathhews ready to re-build

Longford Town manager Alan Matthews has indicated that he is prepared to launch a major rebuilding programme to his squad at Flancare Park at the end of the season.

Their form has dipped to a new low in recent weeks with four straight defeats bringing no goals for the midlanders, even against bohs who have only kept 5 clean sheets in all competitions – and Matthews feels the time has come for some of his squad to seek pastures new.
