The collapse of the deal to hand over the Olympic Stadium to West Ham for a new home from 2014 looks like another huge mess and risks handing the tax-payer an ongoing money drain. The first repercussion will see Tottenham and Leyton Orient drop their application for a Judicial Review of Newham Council's planned £40m loan to West Ham as part of the Olympic Stadium package, along with the anonymously-laid complaint made to the European Court.
