QPR midfielder Joey Barton denies English Defence League links
Photo fraud QPR and Joey Barton have released a statement rejecting suggestions that he is a member of far-right group the English Defence League. A photo of Barton posing with EDL leader Tommy Robinson (aka Stephen Yaxley Lennon) appeared on the EDL Support Group Facebook page accompanied by the caption: "Joey Barton joins the EDL.
