AVB hails midfielder’s ‘perfection’
Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has praised the manner in which Frank Lampard responded to a second straight starting XI selection by scoring a brilliant hat-trick against Bolton Wanderers.
The Blues cruised to an emphatic 5-1 win at the Reebok Stadium and although their collective team effort was certainly noteworthy, the headlines belonged to Lampard, who has now scored in both his last games as a starter.
