Futsal Team Calls Up Academy Players
The U.S. Futsal National Team is holding a camp this week at Soccer City in Torrance, Calif. The
training camp is building on the success of the player identification camp held earlier this month
and the team is now in the process of preparing for FIFA Futsal World Cup qualifying next year.
One goal of the player identification camp was to rebuilt the squad with an injection of youth, and
three players who are 17 and under have joined the team in southern california.
