By Alan Duffy
Theyab Awana, the UAE winger who became an internet sensation after netting a supremely cheeky back-heeled penalty kick in the UAE's 7-2 demolition of Lebanon in July, has been killed in a car crash.
The 21-year-old was driving back to Abu Dhabi on Sunday evening after taking part in a national team training session in Al Ain when his car collided with a truck.
