Gunners captain takes swipe at Rovers
Arsenal skipper Robin van Persie has claimed that his teammates outplayed Blackburn in Saturday's 4-3 defeat and he is still shocked that Steve Kean's struggling outfit was able to score four times.
Although the Dutchman acknowledged the need to stop conceding soft goals in order to rebound quickly from a third defeat in only five Premier League matches, he reminded the Rovers that they were fortunate to emerge as the winning side at Ewood Park.
