Holden will start for Bolton in Tuesday's Carling Cup match

American midfielder Stuart Holden will make his official return from a broken leg on Tuesday, as he has been selected to start for Bolton in their Carling Cup clash against Aston Villa.

Holden has been sidelined for six months since suffering a broken leg on a studs-up challenge from Manchester United defender Johnny Evans.
