‘Runners a surprise 6-0-0

No one is comparing them to the 2006 National Champions, but the Metro State Roadrunners are doing just enough to get off to the team's best start since that championship season.

On Sunday, the 'Runners improved to 6-0-0 with a 1-0 victory over New Mexico Highlands. Metro State hasn't gone without a blemish this far in the season since the '06 squad won its first 12 matches of the year.
