Wenger happy to break the bank

Throughout the summer, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been busy defending his transfer policy and denying a deliberate effort to avoid spending major sums on transfers.

In one of his most recent interviews at the club's official website, though, Wenger took the discussion on this topic to a whole new level by insisting that he is more than willing to spend big on the transfer fee and wages of players such as the Gunners' five deadline day signings, as long as the expenditure is justified.
