After an excellent debut season, Raul Meirelles – who was recently voted Fan's player of the Year - inexplicably left for Chelsea on transfer deadline day. The reasons behind the move have never been 100% clear but now Meirelles himself and Damien Commolli have made public statements about the transfer.
