Arsenal signing quick to address controversy

After sealing a move to the Barclays Premier League, new Arsenal left-back Andre Santos has immediately rubbished reports that he departed Fenerbahce due to the team's involvement in a match-fixing scandal.

The Turkish champions were forced to withdraw from the Champions League last week and not only was their spot given to second-placed Trabzonspor, but there have been demands to relegate them to the country's second division of club football.
