Joe Cole Loan to Lille Confirmed
My fellow Liverpool followers, our long national nightmare is over. Joe Cole has completed a loan deal with French club Lille that will see him head to the League 1 side for the coming season. Liverpool will, unfortunately, pay roughly 60% of his bloated salary over the coming year, a fact that shows Cole's priorities lie in receiving a pay day more than in receiving consistent first team football.
