Wes Welker Injury Update – Neck Injury

The New England Patriots have looked fantastic at times during preseason play. But a bad first half against the Detroit Lions got much worse after star wide receiver Wes Welker injured his neck making a tackle following a Tom Brady interception.

Although Welker was able to leave the field under his own power, he was soon treated by trainers and didn't return to the game.
