Spurs boss exposes midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has indicated that increasing uncertainty over the future of star midfielder Luka Modric certainly played its part in derailing his side's focus during a disappointing 5-1 thrashing at home to Manchester City this afternoon.

In the aftermath of the heart-breaking loss at White Hart Lane, Redknapp revealed that Modric went as far as urging him to be excluded from the starting line-up against the Citizens.
