the new york times website has an article up about how mls has grown from a mere blip on the sports radar screen of america to a league on the verge of breaking through.

it gives a nice overview of many of the teams and talks about how the league has been improving and adding features. heck, it even says the red bulls might not be the black hole of the league anymore.
