We are thrilled to be able to share the news that John Obi Mikel's father Michael has been freed after Nigerian police located the kidnappers who had been holding him since 12th August. The Chelsea midfielder's agents tweeted the news that Michael had contacted his family yesterday afternoon and confirmed that they would be releasing further information in a statement today.
