La Liga Postponed After Player’s Strike

The Spanish La Liga season has been postponed this week-end after players took action, over players not being payed by the respective clubs.

Over 200 players are owed an estimated £40m from last season and although the LFP, who represent the 42 professional teams in Spain made £40m available as part of an emergency fund, it was turned down vehemently.
