Barcelona and Real Madrid put on a show during the Spanish SuperCopa, but those hoping to see the two powerhouses in action again sometime soon will have to wait a little while longer than expected.

Players in Spain's first and second division will be on strike for at least the first two scheduled weekends of the season, starting with what was supposed to be Saturday's opening day of the season.
