CCL: Toronto 2 - Tauro 1
Playing at home, Toronto kept up the MLS win streak in the opening games of the CONCACAF Champions League group stage. Ryan Johnson opened the scoring in the 22nd minute and Juan De Guzman made it 2-0 two minutes later. Tauro pulled a goal back in the 76th from the penalty spot and almost had an 86th minute equalizer that was cleared off the line by a Toronto defender.
