The Week’s Meaningful Friendly

There were lots of big friendlies this week with lots of big publicity Germany v Brazil and Italy v Spain don't exactly happen every day. There was even a big friendly involving Mexico, taking on their northern rivals, the US.

But perhaps the biggest was in Mexico City, where Salvador Cabanas, Paraguayan international, enjoyed a friendly in his honor after being shot in the head in a bar some months back.
