1978 Mexican World Cup Star Gunned Down

Mexico's 1978 World Cup defender Ignacio Flores was gunned down last night after a truck in which he was travelling in was shot at near Cuernavaca in Mexico.

Flores (58) was also part of the great 1970′s Cruz Azul team which won five Mexican League Titles and his brother Luis also played pro-soccer with the Puma's Unam's and Mexico.
