Lucas Declares Himself Ready To Face Sunderland
Liverpool's Lucas Leiva remains optimistic about his place in the team to face Sunderland on the
opening day of the season, despite the arrival of additional midfielders and his participation in
this summer's Copa America.
The Brazilian has been at the centre of speculation regarding Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish's
lineup for Saturday's match against Sunderland, with many tipping the player to miss out on a first
team place.
