James Lawton writes of how Manchester United's will to win is what separates them from their
rivals, and keeps them in the pole position heading into the start of the 2011-12 English Premier
League campaign.
It is rather too early to know the degree – and the depth – of Manchester United's latest
renewal but we do know that their potentially toughest rivals endured more than the pain of late
and demoralising defeat.
