Liverpool have enquired about the availability of Birmingham defender Scott Dann, Kopsource understands. The Scouse-born centre-back will cost Liverpool between 10-£12m should they wish to follow up their interest. In a pre-season campaign which saw the Reds leak 15 goals in 5 games the club's defensive deficiencies have been adundantly obvious.
