Philadelphia secures Valdes' full rights



One of the key components of the Philadelphia Union's turnaround figures to be a fixture with the club for the foreseeable future.

The Union secured the full rights to Carlos Valdes on Friday, ensuring that the 26-year-old Colombian centerback does not return to the club that held his rights, Independiente Santa Fe.
