Pandev set for Lazio stay

Lazio forward Goran Pandev is set to be offered a deal to stay at the club until 2012.

Lazio are moving to quell reported interest in Pandev after the Macedonia international was linked with Portsmouth, Arsenal and Rangers in recent months.
The player publicly denied the speculation, saying of one report ahead of Macedonia's clash with England in October that he has "never spoken with this journalist (in question)" regarding a move to the Gunners.
