CCL: Real Esteli 1 - Toronto 2
Toronto FC advanced to the group stage of the CONCACAF Champions League with a 2-1 win on Tuesday night (4-2 on aggregate) at the Independencia in Nicaragua. Ryan Johnson was the hero for Toronto, scoring on either side of an Esteli penalty. Johnson's opener came in the 37th minute when he took a chance on a long shot that paid off.
