Reds Sweat On Duo
Injured Liverpool duo Raul Meireles and Martin Skrtel are in a race against time to be fit for the
start of the new season.
Both players sat out the penultimate pre-season friendly, as the Reds drew 3-3 in Norway against
Valarenga - conceding at least three goals for the fifth game in a row.
Portuguese star Meireles is currently sidelined with a foot problem, but it's believed that the
injury is just bruising and the former Porto man should be fit for the opening weekend.
