Steven Gerrard Out Until September
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has been ruled out of the club's first three Premier League games of the season through injury.
Gerrard will miss the season-opening home clash against Sunderland, the trip to Arsenal and Bolton's visit to Anfield in August.
A statement on Liverpool's official website read:
"Steven Gerrard today began a course of antibiotic treatment for an infection related to an ongoing groin problem.
