Things did not go Seattle's way on the road in Panama for the opening leg of their CONCACAF Champions League qualifying series. In front of the home crowd at Estadio Rommel Fernandez, San Francisco's Roberto Brown converted a 27th minute penalty for the game's only goal. Eric Hugues picked up the first-leg shutout for San Francisco.
