Boro miss out on Parkinson
Parkinson will not be joining Boro
Welling defender Jack Parkinson has turned down a move to Stevenage in order to remain at Conference South outfit Welling United. Parkinson has been training with the club and played 45 minutes in Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat to Dover at the Crabble. It was thought that a fee of £10,000 had been agreed, but the Wings captain has decided to stay put for the time being, turning down an opportunity to jump 3 leagues higher overnight.
