Villa Gave In To Liverpool’s Offer For Downing
Just as it was expected, not long after Aston Villa's manager, Alex McLeish, stated his wish of keeping the club's star winger, Stuart Downing, the player is simply closer in moving away from Villa Park as the London outfit has finally accepted Liverpool's offer.
Having rejected two offers from the Reds earlier, Villa though their chief executive, Paul Faulkner, confirmed that the Merseyside's third proposal has been agreed and should Kenny Dalglish' team agreed personal terms with Downing, the England international will leave for Anfield.
