Earthquakes, Union battle to scoreless draw

The Philadelphia Union dominated play in San Jose but could only manage a 0-0 draw with the Earthquakes in a testy affair on Saturday night.

It was a cagey first half that saw few chances with the best opportunity coming when Danny Mwanga's low shot was cleared off the line by Bobby Burling.
