WatchESPN: marginally better than ESPN3

In light of yesterday's post on how flakey ESPN3 has been during the Women's World Cup, I was implored to try the moblie-oriented "WatchESPN" app on my iphone. MOST of the experience was great and made up for the impossibly small screen. The part that wasn't revolved around the cumbersome authentication the app requires.
